Keep in mind that I have only been here once but I had a terrible experience. I do not intend to go back unless I have no other option. I went because I had an obvious infection in my throat- I could see it in the mirror. I was running a high fever and felt awful. All they did was a rapid strep test which came back negative (@ $100) and they took a culture to confirm the same result that I did not have strep (@ $200). I left my $300+ visit with no treatment plan and no diagnosis. When the culture results finally came back 3 days later only to confirm what we all already thought which was that I didn't have strep throat I asked what I should do about the painful swelling in my throat as it was affecting my ability to swallow food and water. I was instructed to take Advil and rest- which is what I had been doing for days before I went to the Clinic. I dealt with the pain for another day and eventually went to see an Otolaryngologist who immediately prescribed me antibiotics for the infection. When I told him about my experience at CVMC he was very surprised and said that I had every right to argue that I was not provided the correct treatment to get my bill lowered. I never did and wish that I had.

Very rude PA. Was sent home with no answers and still uncomfortable. Just wanted to know how to treat myself to get better sooner and without further injury. Guess they didn't know. Won't go here again.

The wait times seem a little long for an urgent care clinic (and the waiting room is pretty small), however, the staff seems quite competent and solution-focused.

Five stars! Always outstanding care! Perfect if you can't get in to see your regular primary care provider, are traveling, or it's after hours (check the hours they are open; this is not a 24 hour emergency service). Advanced traumas like broken bones or bad wounds and other involved injuries or illnesses still need to be seen at the ER at the top of the hill; this is not emergency care so much as alternate care. But the friendly empathetic staff will always help to the best of their ability. A quick phone call to them can help ascertain if you should go to Express Care or the ER if you are unsure where to go. As always, if it is a genuine emergency always call 911.

Nice people, but this is super Express Care. Like someone will spend more time billing you and your insurance company, than what they spent with you on your health. Vitals, stethoscope to the chest: you got a cold, get out. No seriously! That's what the appointment was in a nutshell
