While some of the things that went wrong in my stay were potentially beyond the hotel's control, (like the hot water being out of order for several hours on Sunday morning), there are enough of them to seem like a pattern of apathy and incompetence that makes me wonder how this place stays in business.
I just come up with client to use the pool on occasion and the pool house is disgusting. The ceiling looks like it could cave in. The floors in the bathrooms aren't heated so you go from the pool to freezing air and freezing stone floors. The place is needs a total make over
No hot water, dirty and dated, claims to be smoke free but clearly has not been maintained in that fashion. Beds are hard with springs poking you. Shower was so dirty I would not use it to take a shower. The TV that was in my room didn't work but I could hear the one next door clear as day threw the paper thin walls. I will never stay here aging.
The room reeked of smoke, the key cards randomly reset, and there was mold on the fruit in the continental breakfast. Stay anywhere else.
A different experience working for the hilltop they almost do everything but backwards they have really nice desk people working there but at the same time I don't know if they really have their stuff going very good for themselves the first four months that I work there we had seven housekeepers that worked with me we all work together in trying to get all the rooms done and we also had to go down to the other Hotel down the street not too far away but still we had to get down there in any way we had to they really didn't care how we got there we had to get there otherwise threatened to be fired every day anyways I know that they shut off to always completely which that's like most of the hotel what is dark and I have a feeling they had bed bugs so that's why I had gotten so upset when they fired me being that I was the only housekeeper and I tried being as respectful as I could to everybody that I was attending to I didn't touch your stuff I'd leave everything alone the only thing I went in there for was to clean your room and I got out of there especially if you were in there I have bad anxiety so I try not to be in your way too long but the way they did things was a bad establishment I was recently housekeeper a tie different establishment and then when for 2 nights and this wasn't me as my sister that had actually stayed in the room with her daughter they got charged way to much for the two nights and you could not really go into the pool it's too deep for the kids for one and their advertisement because they say it's heated but its barely warm enough to get in at all the kids were freezing and the rooms don't really get clean that well not like other establishment said I've been to wear you I knew the beds and everything was stripped out like we'd get rid of the cobwebs in the middle of the room if you had to like big rooms we had to clean and this place just had everything going on backwards for themselves and the one manager we had this lady was awesome and she packed up her stuff and left crying cuz she really was trying to make the place better. And this was after we lost five other housekeepers and I was the only left standing because I was really trying to help them out as much as I could but the manager is an a****** so I don't understand how there is any way shape or form that they get business at all anymore they treat their customers like s*** I think and you guys are paying what you get for like somebody outside but what they're making you guys pay is up the ying-yang and is not worth it trust me I was a housekeeper they don't even wash the blankets people
Great location. Very comfortable and pleasant. Nice breakfast. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because upon check-in we learned the boiler was broken and there was no hot water. We were tired from driving all day and decided to just stay anyway. Well worth it even with a cold shower!
